MATTHEWS, Justice. OPINION. Appellant, George Gottschalk, Jr., appeals his conviction for petty larceny. He raises three issues: whether the trial court abused its discretion by denying his several requests for trial continuances; whether he was denied his right to counsel; and whether his sentence was unlawful and excessive. We affirm the decision of the trial court.
